This Om pendant carries the meaning Hindu Resonant, the Sound of Creation. The most sacred sound in Hinduism, the OM represents the infinite, transcendent reality of the universe. It is an Indian greeting of peace, and a symbol of the four states of consciousness: awake, dreaming, sleeping without dreams and the transcendental state. Designed by Bico's jewelry artists in Australia, the Om chain pendant is made of pewter and silver-plated, and coated with a unique protective coating to extend the life of its plating. Approximate size 2 by 1 3/4 inches. A smaller Om is available with an approximate size of 1 by 3/4 inches.
